The Farmhouse

Slide open the barn door and enter The Farmhouse – a semi-private space adjoining our main dining room where guests can experience a backstage pass to our open kitchen and enjoy the hustle and bustle of our talented team. Here, guests can mix and mingle while seeing first hand the care and attention needed for the art of wood fire cookery. Our wood-burning oven serves as a focal point – it’s continually fueled with birchwood throughout the evening, imparting flavour and aroma.

Capacity: 18 guests 

Layout:  Three or four tables with maximum six guests per table.

 *Please note that current maximum due to physical distancing is 18 guests and this is with tables of no more than six guests two metres apart.

The Butcher’s Table

By day, the 250lb single slab of wood on an antique hydraulic lift acts as a work surface for our butcher team breaking down whole animals and preparing sausages and cured meats for aging, but by night – it’s arguably the best table in the house. Chef tools of the trade abound as you and your dining companions get to experience the authenticity of a chef’s laboratory.  An overhead meat rail marks the path of meat delivered directly by the farmer to our custom dry-aging cooler before landing on the very table where guests are seated.  Glimpse  what’s coming up next on the menu with a view of the cooler while being pampered by our incredible service team and indulging in a secret tasting of adventurous dishes coming out of the wood burning oven.  A row of windows separates you from the other dining areas creating an air of intrigue and envy for all the other diners in the restaurant.  Those who know, know.  Perfect for gatherings where diners can observe the busy restaurant’s hustle and bustle, while still enjoying the intimacy of separate room – The Butcher’s Table is semi-private, can accommodate 4-6 guests and with advance booking of our Road Trip menu – a chance to experience the most inventive dishes our award-winning chefs are devising.

The state-of-the-art audio visual equipment with 110 inch drop down screen makes this space a great venue set to entertain after a team building session, seminar or virtual conference.
